Two Nigerians Arrested In India For Possessing Drugs Worth N2 Million

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) of the Karnataka Police India has nabbed two Nigerians for possessing illicit drugs amounting to N2,630,342.88.

These two men are identified as Augustine Okafor, 38, and Achunike Nwafor,36, and they were arrested in Rabindranath Tagore near Nagar Police Station area.

On Monday, the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Sandeep Pati confirmed this saying;

“CCB of Karnataka arrested two Nigerian nationals for drug peddling in RT Nagar.”

The police reportedly recovered 20 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of ecstasy pills together with six mobile phones from them.

The case has then been registered under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and Foreigners Act as further investigation proceeds.
