Mr. Ikechukwu Okeke, owner of Breathe Restaurant, has refuted claims by the Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority, providing documents and receipts issued by the said Commission.
In a report by an online platform, the capital territory authority debunked Mr. Okeke’s claims, describing it as cheap blackmail.

However, Mr. Okeke, said that the ECTDA used government might to coerced his partner into signing an Affidavit, as the only option for unsealing the muti-million investment which they had not made a kobo from.
He insisted that the actions of ECTDA Boss are personal and not professional, as he never complained about nuisance until he became the Chairman of that commission.
He also said that all official documents pertaining to the property were duly vetted and stamped by the same ECTDA less than a year ago, and wondered why he was asked to apply for approval of a building plan of the property which has already been approved by the same office.
