Rapper Blaqbonez Gifts N200,000 To Budding Musician Who Quit School In Final Year To Pursue His Dream

Nigerian rap artiste, Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez has to extend a helping hand to a budding Nigerian artiste who quit school while he was in the final year to pursue music.

The singer, Henry Ogbonna with Twitter handle @babyboypariss told his Twitter friends that he snubbed school so he can chase his dreams fully but the going has been tough as a clothing line he started to give him financial cushion was ruined by the dreaded Covid-19.

He then released a music video for one of his songs and asked Nigerians for promotion and referrals.

”I dropped out of Uni in my finals, school wasnt for me, started a clothing line, was doing well till covid hit in 2020, I’ve always been talented, but music was too risky, now it’s all I have, all my savings went into this, I need love and support. Pls RT & tell someone about me

The video is an expression of how I feel at the moment, shot on my street in festac, I’m not asking for funds, if you like what you hear, pls encourage me, if you don’t tell me what I should do to improve, but I wont stop till I’m as big as the guys on my wall, I am BabyboyParis,” he wrote.

It was at this juncture that Blaqbonez offered to help.

”I relate to every word bro, COVID na bastard, send your acc number make i help a lil. you’re fire, Gen Z we gatta stay pushing no matter what,” he tweeted.
