Comrade Obinna Ogbuka has been re elected the Chairman of NUJ FRCN Enugu Chapel .
Comrade Ogbuka was returned unopposed as the Chairman of the Chapel, The Secretary of the Chapel went to Comrade Nnenna Igwe (unopposed)while Comrade Chidinma Ujoh was re-elected the Treasurer of the Chapel.
According to the electoral Committee, other positions would be filled in a bye election.
Inaugurating the Executive of the Chapel, the Chairman NUJ Enugu State Council, Comrade Sam Udekwe charged them to carry out their duties to the best of their ability and in accordance to the Constitution of NUJ.
Comrade Udekwe advised the Chapel executive to work towards ensuring better welfare of the members at the chapel level and also participate in union activities effectively.
In his acceptance Speech, the re elected Chairman of NUJ , FRCN Enugu Chapel, Comrade Obinna Ogbuka thanked members of the Chapel for the confidence reposed on him and called for support of all to activate optimum performance.
The Secretary of the Council , Dame Ifeoma Amuta , the Council Treasurer, Comrade Adaku Agbara, the Former Council Secretary, Comrade Dennis Agbo , Assistant Secretary of NUJ NTA Enugu Chapel, Comrade Okechukwu Agubama, Bureau Chief of Sun Newspaper, Comrade Magnus Nze and the State Chairman of SWAN, Comrade Gideon Iwueke , Former Chairmen of the Chapel, Comrades Ngozi Mbah and Emeka Anyalebechi(one time Vice Chairman of the Council) as well as the Acting Deputy Director of News FRCN , Comrade Uche Ezekwe) were present at the event which had a one time Secretary of the Council , Comrade Oliver Ossai as the electoral committee Chairman.
