We have sighted a report by Linda Ikeji’s Blog and in the report, some gunmen have attacked the residence of former Minister of Sports, Damishi Sango, in Plateau State. The report stated that the incident happened Wednesday, March 31.
These unknown gunmen reportedly went to his residence, and upon getting there, they started shooting sporadically.
This led to the injuring of two security guards and a boy and also these gunmen also stole with the rifles of the security guards, however, no one from the family of the former minister was hurt.
The incident was confirmed by the spokesman of the Plateau Police Command, ASP. Gabriel Ubah and in his submission, he said;
“The Command is aware of the incident at Riyom and the victims have been rushed to the hospital where they are receiving treatment.
I am not aware yet whether they were dispossessed of their rifles. A team of detectives and intelligence officers have already commenced investigation and manhunt for the criminals.”
