Media personality Daddy Freeze has urged Nigerians to choose their ‘God’ carefully.

This comes as another reaction to the recent utterances the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide also called Winners Chapel, Bishop Oyedepo made over the sack of a number of pastors who couldn’t produce expected income at their various branches.

Recall that Bishop Oyedepo said that they sacked the pastors from offices because they were ‘unfruitful blatant failures’. Well, it seems his utterances didn’t sit well with many Nigerians as many people stated that they have come to realize that the church is also a type of business.

Daddy Freeze who lately reacted to the clergyman’s words and urged Christians to open their eyes and not get deceived saying the only thing Christ dismissed and punished was a tree has likened the statement of Oyedepo to that of the chairman of Cubana group, Obi Cubana.

Obi Cubana recently said in an interview that “Some of my boys who failed & had issues with their business came back to me for help, and I gave the more money. And they are doing well now.

Bishop Oyedepo also recently said; “We sacked those pastors because they are unfruitful, blatant failures! We don’t have patience with failures.”

In spite of the two statements, Daddy Freeze has asked Nigerians to analyze them carefully before choosing their ‘God’. He supported his reaction with a quote from the Holy Book.

He wrote;

Choose your ‘God’ carefully….
Are you choosing the God of love who sacrificed his son so we may be saved or MAMMON?🙄

New Living Translation
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
