Popular Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has opined that Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) National Leader, has a better likelihood of being the party’s presidential candidate in 2023.
According to Adeyanju, Bola Tinubu has managed to solicit support from majority of APC governors and Senators. Taking to his Twitter page, he disclosed that Tinubu is the reason the APC is dragging its feet on holding the national Congress
He wrote: “Both APC and PDP are going to present Northern candidates in 2023. But if primaries takes place in APC today, Tinubu will win because he has more support of their Govs, Senators structures, etc. This is one of the reasons they are delaying APC congress. Politics is deep.”
In a post via his Facebook page, Adeyanju revealed that Paul Enenche has no part to play in the arrest and he has already done all that is possible to see the release of the students but the authorities are not budging.
Adeyanju wrote: “DAY 5: The DSS has refused to release the Abuja 5 Buhari Must Go protesters who were arrested at Dunamis church despite all efforts by Pastor Paul Enechie to get them released.
“The DSS are now claiming the protesters were trying to instigate religious riots by going to the church. The tyranny of the Buhari regime is laughable. Like I said, the church had no hand in the arrest and detention of the protesters.
“I know first hand all the steps the church has made to get them released. Even today, the pastor has made several efforts. And I’m not been religious here, just stating the fact.”
