After Chelsea Lost 3-1 To Manchester City, This Is How The EPL Table Looks Like

For Chelsea, the past couple of games hasn’t been impressive for them as they have lost 3 out of their recent five matches played and in a bid to put that past them and start the year perfectly, they welcomed a City side who were short of players from their squad with Sterling playing as the striker. Chelsea also welcomed back Ziyech who started straight in front for Chelsea.

Like I said earlier, Chelsea haven’t really performed well in recent games and that was what we saw in the first 30 minute of the match as they quickly went 2 goals down to Manchester City after goals from Ikay Gundogan (18) and Phil Foden (21).

With Chelsea looking to get a goal back, Mancity countered them and further extended their lead in the 34th minute to make it three through De Bruyne to give city the lead at half-time 3-0

Manchester City having done all the scoring the first-half, went on to maintain their lead and won the match 3-1 despite Hudson scoring a late goal for Chelsea.

For Chelsea and Frank Lampard, they suffer another setback and after the trashing they got from Man City, they dropped to 8th on the table while City climbed to 5th.

What do you think Frank Lampard is doing wrong here despite all the players he got?
