CEO of Mavins Records, Don Jazzy, has opined that Fireboy’s Apollo Album deserves a Grammy award after its performance at the just ended 14th edition of Headies Awards 2020.
Fireboy was the musician with the leading number of nominations as he was nominated for nine categories including the Album of the year with his Sophomore. The musician emerged as the second YBNL act to win the Album of the year.
Fireboy won the awards for Album of the year, Best RnB album, Best Pop Album, Best RnB single, and Headies Revelation of the year.
Reacting to Fireboy’s achievements, Don Jazzy took to his Twitter page and wrote; “That Fireboy Album suppose to win Grammy sef”.
The Headies is a Nigerian music award held to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry and this year, the event took place at the La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort in Ibeju-Lekki.
